Alison is a Hanover, PA native who moved to NY after obtaining a B.A.
in Dance at Slippery Rock University. She has been on staff at LDS for
three years. Ali teaches Ballet and Modern at our studio from Beginner
to Competitive levels.
After junior year of college she spent her summer studying and
assisting with Frank Hatchett, and Skip Costa as well as teaching for
the Radio City Rockette Experience.
Ali obtained her own Modern class at Broadway Dance Center after a
summer of interning and intense study. She has adjudicated for
numerous dance and talent competitions throughout the U.S. Ms.
Seidentstricker is also the founder of ASEID Contemporary Dance
Company in NYC and attributes a great portion of her success to
Ursela Payne (a former professor and mentor at Slippery Rock).
It is our pleasure to welcome her back for another great year.

Danielle is the founder of the Legwork’s Dance Company and Competition
Team. She teaches Tap, Lyrical, and Jazz at LDS. Danielle has been a
certified instructor with Dance Educators of America since 1995. She has
been teaching and adjudicating around the country ever since. As a
graduated scholar of Broadway Dance Center two years in a row, Danielle
went on to perform with Tracie Stanfield, Geoffrey Doig Marx, Vissi Dance
Theatre, Courtney Ffrench, Jill Rucci, and has appeared in an Off Broadway
play “Love Rocks” directed by Holly Harper. She even danced in honor of
Ann Reinking at the 2002 Elan Awards, and held a teaching position at
Broadway Dance Center for the children’s program. Her main area of
interest is choreography. Danielle has won many prestigious awards at
regional and national competitions.


Miss Laurie has been with LDS since we opened our doors 28 years
ago. She has excelled from a student dancer, to an assistant teacher,
and earned her way to teaching her own classes. Laurie has been
teaching for over twelve years. She began her college studies
concentrating in children’s education and later returned for her degree
in accounting. Laurie teaches Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, and Lyrical for
recreational dancers as well as competition jazz and lyrical. She is also
the Events Coordinator of our studio in charge of planning monthly
contests, fund raisers, and gatherings. Miss Laurie holds the reputation
for being the most popular teacher amongst our staff for her
encouragement, organization, and perfectionism. We love having her in
our LDS family.

Tara has been with LDS for the past 26 years. She is the Funk
and Hip Hop competitive and non -competitive teacher at our
studio. Tara has been seen dancing for the Knicks halftime
performances, and has a very powerful and unique style of
choreography. Her teams have won Overall High Score Awards at
mostly every competition LDS has entered. She has studied with
Brian Friedman, Brian Green, Rhapsody, The Amount Boyz, and
Wade Robson. We are so honored to have her as part of our LDS
family!

An LDS lifer as well, Ms. Dominique has climbed the ladder from
student to teacher and is responsible for teaching some of our
Pre-School Combo Classes, Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop. She teaches
competition tap as well as the recreational classes. Dominique is
currently in college for Children’s Education studying to become a
school teacher. Dominique is extremely educated in enhancing gross
motor and coordination skills for our youngest dancers. This type of
specialized training is very important for all young dancers in
developing rhythm and musicality. She is an excellent motivator and
teaches children that dance is not only fun but educational as well.
Miss Keri has been a former competitive dancer at LDS as well.
She is a highly versatile dancer with a passion for Tap. Keri
teaches Tap, Lyrical and Jazz, as well as competition Tap. She is
known for her endless pirouettes and incredible Tap acoustics.
Miss Keri has been studying at LDS for the past 17 years. We
welcome her back for her Third year of teaching at LDS.
Erin has been a student and competative dancer at LDS for 16
years. She joins our staff this year as a recreational ballet and
lyrical teacher.
Erin began her dance training with LDS and has also studied
ballet at the Universal Ballet Academy in Washington DC (formally
the Kirov Academy) Erin also had the pleasure of performing with
ASEID (Miss Alison Seidenstricker.) Erin attended Slippery Rock
University's dance program. She returned to L.I. to continue
dancing and teaching at LDS. We are proud to have Erin on staff

We would like to welcome the newest member to the Legwork's family.
Karima has been involved with music, dance and modeling. She is a
grauduate of Bay Shore High School. She trained with Renee at
Gardinor Manor Ballet, Ms Jen Eakin, Ms Eileen Kovac at Kovac's
School of Dance, and Excel Garner of Christopher School of Dance
Theatre Arts. Her professional performances include the China Club
and Club Plaid in NYC. She also performed with Harlem Televised
Dance Team Competition. Jen Eakin Choreographer. Karima has also
successfully achieved the honor of receiving her Black Belt and title of
Sensei in Ninjitsu. She is currently teaching hip hop at LDS
however,she is well trained in Ballet, Lyrical and Modern Dance. We
are happy to have her on staff at LDS.
